 A Touch Of Musicality...

  Where Music Matters

 About Us

Where it all started

Hi I'm Phoebe & for as long as I can remember I've wanted to influence peoples lives. I've wanted to create opportunities, make people happy, help people learn & progress as a musician. I've been teaching vocals from the early days when I used to boss my fellow friends around in the school drama productions. It was never unusual for me to be a leader. I started to sing from a very young age & music has always been a massive passion of mine. However, it was at university & once I had met my husband, Matt, that I got the bug for teaching. After university I started teaching vocals privately & have been ever since. I've had some amazing opportunities in my life but nothing as heart-warming as teaching. In September 2017 I set up A Touch Of Musicality, to expand & offer opportunities to others of any age & ability to learn more instruments & team up with the wonderful teachers that work for ATOM.

Where we are now

A Touch Of Musicality has finally got a beautiful local music studio that has three teaching rooms, a beautifully light airy waiting area & performance space. We have settled in & now are offering lessons from September 2018 which include Singing, Piano, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele, Music Theory, Songwriting & Composition. We have six brilliant teachers, Matt, Atalia, Fiona, David, Mica & I who put our all into this venture. Slowly we are hoping to offer further instruments & more talented teachers to our team. We want to create a relaxed place for people to learn & use as a hub.

Why A Touch Of Musicality?

The definition of Musicality is a natural talent for music, its one of the best compliments that a musician can be given in my opinion. At A Touch of Musicality we want to take that talent & nurture it so it builds. If you take the first letters of our name A T O M then it creates 'ATOM'. An atom is the smallest particle that can exist. At A Touch Of Musicality we want to take that ATOM of Musicality & allow it to grow in every one of our students no matter what age or ability they are. Peoples hopes & dreams, musical experiences & happiness mean a lot to us so we aim to make sure that all our lessons are tailored to each individual who walks through the door.

ALL LESSONS during lockdown will be taught ONLINE only, including all choirs. However, when we can safely open for face-to-face lesson we will be taking the appropriate precautions and social distancing measures. We will also still be offering ONLINE lessons as per before so we can appropriately teach you in comfort.
