About Us 

Where it all started

Hi, I'm Phoebe, Founder, and Director of A Touch of Musicality (ATOM) Music School. For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to create opportunities for people of any age and ability to learn and progress as musicians. I've been singing since I was a young girl, and music has always been a massive passion of mine. I've been teaching vocals from the early days when I used to boss my fellow friends around in the school drama productions - it was never unusual for me to be a leader. However, it was at university, and once I had met my husband Matt, that I got the bug for teaching. After university, I started teaching vocals professionally, and have done ever since! I've had some incredible opportunities come my way, but nothing has ever sung to my heart as much as teaching, so in September 2017 I set up A Touch of Musicality.

Where we are now

We opened our music studio at Soly's Mill in Godalming in September 2018, and have been providing lessons ever since! Our studio has three teaching rooms, where our amazing teachers offer music lessons for Singing, Piano, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele, Music Theory, Songwriting, Composition and more! Additionally, we have 3 choirs who rehearse and perform across Guildford and Godalming.

We offer many opportunities for our students to perform, including our Students Unplugged nights in our studio, and our ATOM Music Festival - an all day festival with 3 stages, packed with sets from our talented students.

Why A Touch Of Musicality? 

The definition of Musicality is a natural talent for music - it's one of the best compliments that a musician can receive. At A Touch of Musicality, we want to take that talent and nurture it to help our students improve as musicians. Our studio's acronym is 'ATOM' - the smallest particle that can exist. At A Touch Of Musicality, we want to take that 'ATOM' of Musicality and allow it to grow in every one of our students, no matter their age or ability. We tailor our lessons to each individual to give our students the best musical experience and help them achieve their goals.
