She went on to perform all over the country in bands & as a solo artist. Her recorder days are long since over and now her focus lies in teaching and performing Classical, Jazz & contemporary piano. She is also an A-Level music examiner and enjoys teaching harmony, composition, essay technique and theory at GCSE & A-Level standard.

Piano, Theory

Jack teaches piano and music theory to all levels, including Jazz, Classical and Contemporary.

Jack is an accomplished UK jazz pianist and having played various gigs in London's reputable jazz venues, he has gained great experience from which to teach. Jack trained classically from the age of 5 to 16 where he turned to jazz after getting a taste for improvisation. Jack studied Jazz Piano Performance at Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Jack has been teaching since he was about 14. It all began when his family friends would ask him for lessons in order to boost their children's DofE points. Naturally, this grew and the love for teaching still remains to this day. Apart from 3 years working in investment banking, Jack has remained a teacher. One of his deep interests is the science of cognition and how the brain operates when learning and it is this that makes him a versatile teacher with much enthusiasm.
